James Smith Cree Nation members have participated in the Saskatchewan First Nations Games since they began 47 years ago. This is the first time we are presenting a bid to host the Tony Cote Summer Games. We believe that the importance of these games deserves our best efforts and it's time to raise the bar, recognizing and celebrating the successes and achievements of Saskatchewan’s First Nation youth. |
INVESTORS
Thank you so very much for your partnership, support, and contributions to the 2022 Tony Cote First Nations Summer Games.
We are so fortunate to have such generous investors and we can never thank you enough for all the support you've shown us. It is because of you that we were able to provide our youth athletes, volunteers, coaches, chaperones, and attendees with the best environment possible. |
Flying Dust Cree Nation will send runners in advance to deliver the games lance. James Smith Cree Nation will send runners to Saskatoon to accept the lance on behalf of the young people from across the province. The Lance will then be delivered to Whitecap Dakota First Nation to sit in the Ceremony Tipi and Traditional Camp. |
"We swear that we will take part in these Tony Cote Games in the true spirit of sportsmanship, and that we will respect and abide by the rules that govern them, for the glory of sport and the honor of our Tribal/Grand Council."
THANK YOU INVESTORS! |
